interesting. Madison keeps waking up at 2am also. She also is getting along quite well with our two dogs. The younger dog, Bailey, is quite taken with her.

Merry Xmas to you, evan, troy and lani

Yea! You made it! Sounds like things are going pretty well so far. Isn't it amazing how HUGE kids left home appear when you reunite! It always shocks me!

Love the picture of Evan feeding Troy. They'll be best buds before too long. :)

Wow your trip was fast! Didn't help that I got dreadfully sick with a high fever and missed your blog (and life in general) for several days. :( I guess you're about home now. I bet Evan will be so happy to see you again! Can't wait to hear how that goes!

Sophie does the whining thing too. She was so spoiled in her orphanage....doted on by all the nannies and older kids. Definitely not a bad thing for an orphanage baby, but it's taken a bit to figure out when to ignore the little whimpers and when to attend to them. But I think I have it down now. :) Thankfully she's pretty even tempered so the whimpering doesn't last long when it's the kind I should ignore.

So just what does Thit Cho smell like? ;)

Those clams sound yummy!!

And that video of Troy is adorable! He's a funny little guy!!

I've never had much success with co-sleeping my babies from VN, even though that was my intention from the start (to co-sleep). They all prefer to be in a crib when it's time to really sleep. So we attach when we're awake and enjoy our sleep at night side by side, but in separate beds. So don't fret if Troy ends up liking his crib better. :)

I'm happy you didn't decide on the Thit Cho. Though I am curious to know how it tastes. Just never could get up the nerve to give it a try. :)

Congratulations, Mark! Read thru all your posts today (Dec 16), while waiting to review our new w3 pages. :-) Sorry to remind you of work there!

I still think you have been pretty lucky on Troy's sleep pattern...he seems like an angel. You should have seen me and my wife's travails when my twins were under 2 years. Alternating every hour, nappy changes, sometimes rashes so even more irrity...ooh, surely can't sing Bryan Adams' line "Those were the best days of my life!" Joking...but it was real fun while it lasted and the confusion of people at their alikeness. Have a great trip back! :-)
